#1 - Approach

Must make a “J approach” (six step)
3 steps on approach (will vary) - used for speed
3 steps on curve (will vary) - used for lean
Not an “I approach” or “L approach” -  !!BAD!!

#2 - Curve

The goal of the curve is to lean.
Bend at the ankles.
Not bending at the hips -  !!BAD!!

#3 - Jump

Don’t forget to jump. (go big)
Please jump vertical or straight up
BIG knee & BIG arms.

#4 - Rotation

The LEAN at the curve is so you ROTATE over the bar.
Make sure to put your HEAD BACK
No lean at curve no rotation -  !!BAD!!

#5 - Landing

Land on your soldiers and back of the neck.
Think "Back Flip"
Not flat on the mat - !!BAD!!

#6 - Exit Mat

Competitor MUST exit Mat with bar still on standards

#7 - HIGH FIVE and say BAM to coach
