Waconia XC Homecoming “FUN” Run 2023
“Turn by Turn” Directions
START:
Mankato East High School (only 62 miles to go)
2600 Hoffman Rd
Mankato, MN 56001
1) Head East on Hoffman Rd for ½ mile (busy area…watch for traffic)
2) Turn Left & Head North on State Hwy 22/Victory Dr (run on left of roads facing traffic)
3) State Hwy 22 North out of Kato for 11 miles enroute to St. Peter (home of GAC)
4) In St. Peter you will come up to a T in Road at Hwy 169 (Busy Intersection)
5) Cross 169 and head into city streets of St. Peter (Gooooo Gusties)
6) Head on Jackson St. North (or up Wabasha street) *little tricky here
7) When you hit 4th Street take right and head east for 6 blocks to College Ave
8) Take Left on College Ave and head uphill onto campus of THE Gustavus Adolphus
College (maybe a group pict at the Gustavus Sign for old coach)
9) Run uphill from Gustavus sign right into campus and head kinda right/North East
10) Head East out of campus near the Track and look for Sunrise Dr (off campus to East)
11) Take Left and head on Sunrise Drive for 1 mile (St. Peter HS track on your right)
12) After 1 mile on Sunrise take left on Dodd Ave/Hwy 22 & head north out of town
13) Run 2.5 miles on Hwy 22 until 375th Ave (you all heading into da country now)
14) Take Right on 375th Ave & run approx. 4 miles (cue the banjo music)
15) At the “Y” intersection go Left/West on 356th St/County Road 18 for about ⅓ of mile
16) Take Right/North on 385th Ave and go 1 mile to 348th St & take Left
17) Run ¼ mile to 387th Ave (sure hope our team is not lost at this point)
18) Take Right on 387th Ave & head North for 1 mile (watch out for tractors)
19) Take Left on Country Road 8/336th St and to towards the village of Rush River for 1 mile
20) Take Right and Head North on County Road 17 (391st St)
21) Run 7.5 miles North on County Road 17 until 250th Street (literally in middle of nowhere)
22) Take Right on 250th Street (it is on a curve)
23) ¼ mile of 250th and it turns left (north) and becomes 387th Ave (watch out for skunks)
24) Run 1 mile on 387th until it turns right and becomes 238th Street
25) ¼ mile on 238th Street & take left on 385th Ave (FYI - please help Mr. Bullis)
26) Heda North on 385th Ave for 1 mile until junction with County Hwy 12
27) Take Right and head East on County Hwy 12 for 1.5 miles (any doggie visits yet?)
28) Take Left and head North on 371st Ave/Country Road 11
29) Run 4 miles North on County Road 11 to the town of Green Isle (little little town)
30) In Green Isle take a Right on McGrann Street & it will turn into Hwy 25
31) Hwy 25 heads east out of town (Bye Green Isle it's been real)
32) Run 1.5 miles on Hwy 25 until 351st Ave & take left heading north
33) 351st will travel north for about 4 miles to the town of Hamburg34) Take 1st Right Turn in Hamburg on Sheele Ave (I love Hamburg…cute little town)
35) Sheele Ave becomes Railroad Street (FYI - no businesses in this town)
36) Take Railroad Street to Park Ave and take a right turn/head east
37) Park Ave becomes County Road 50 on way out of town (so sad to leave Hamburg)
38) Head 1 mile out of Hamburg & take left on Vera/Country Road 31 and head North
39) You are now heading north to Norwood/Young America (oooo getting closer)
40) After 3 miles on 31 you will come to a “T”, so take a right on West Elm (also 31)
41) This road will take your right into downtown Norwood (Go Raiders)
42) In town take a left on Reform Street & head north for a mile to Hwy 212 stoplights
43) Cross 212 (BUSY) and continue north on County Road 33 (KwikTrip on your right)
44) Travel through Roundabout and continue north on County Road 33
45) Continue north on 33 through a second roundabout (I hope Bullis is still of help)
46) 3 miles past the 2nd roundabout take a right on County Road 135
47) Eagle Lake will now be on your left (great little early season fishing lake)
48) Continue on CR 135 an wrap around the lake and head north for about 2 miles
49) Take right turn on 102nd Street and head east (we are getting close)
50) Stay on 102nd Street for 4 miles until County Road 151
51) Take left and head north on County Road 151 for 1 mile
52) Take Right and head east on 94th Street (YOUR LAST TURN BABY)
53) 94th Street will run right into our Stadium - CONGRATS you have MADE IT #SUPERBAM]
